Thirty-year-old Gregory Covington of 2650 Seneca Street in West Seneca pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a weapon on Thursday.

Covington was the subject of an investigation by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team. On April 22 and April 29, Covington sold a dangerous mixture of heroin, cocaine and fentanyl to an undercover state trooper.

On May 5, the State Police arrested Covington and executed a search warrant on his vehicle, where they recovered a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol underneath the gear shifter plate in the vehicle.
Covington faces a maximum prison sentence of 45 years when he is sentenced on March 1.
