Tyrod Taylor chose to have groin surgery this morning. The Buffalo Bills released a statement on the matter:

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor had a consultation visit yesterday with Dr. William Meyers and elected to have surgery this morning. The Bills were informed late yesterday of this morning’s procedure.

The surgery recovery is expected to take four to six weeks, which should put Taylor back in the “playable” category before the March 11 deadline for a team physical.
