AURORA — Erie County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four individuals on Friday, following a traffic stop along the southbound lanes of Route 400.

Deputy Okal stopped a taxi for vehicle and traffic violations. When the deputy approached the vehicle and had the driver open the rear sliding door, Deputy Okal detected the strong odor of marijuana and saw a small bag of heroin on the cabin floor. Other units arrived and the occupants were secured while a search of the vehicle and individuals was conducted.

The Deputies’ search discovered six bags of heroin, a quantity of crack cocaine, and a quantity of marijuana.

Charged were:

  • Luis Cedeno, 28, of Buffalo, charged criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and vehicle and traffic violations. He was the driver of the cab.
  • Cristalee Carrasquillo, 26, of Buffalo, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
  • Timothy Nye, 28, of Holland, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and possession of marijuana.
  • Joett Fisher, 47, of Holland, charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and possession of marijuana.

The four defendants were transported to the Erie County Holding Center and released after posting bail.
