WEST SENECA — A 26-year-old Jamestown man is facing drug charges following a Sunday night traffic stop on State Route 400.
According to New York State Police, Cory Carlson was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated and driving an uninspected motor vehicle. 
Police say Carlson was stopped for having an uninspected motor vehicle and found to be intoxicated. A search revealed he had a marijuana pipe and over one pound of marijuana. He was taken to the Boston Troopers’ barracks, where he refused a breath test. 
Carlson was arraigned at the Town of West Seneca Court and remanded to Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $1,000 bail.
