AMITY — A 49-year-old Angelica man was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated following an incident at Crosby’s Service Station.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the service station for two patrons reported to be intoxicated in the store. Upon arrival Robert P. Cassidy was found behind the wheel of a running vehicle in the parking lot. He was determined to be intoxicated and found to have a .10 percent blood alcohol content. He was released on tickets returnable to the Town of Amity Court on Wednesday.
