JAMESTOWN — Three men are facing drug charges following a raid by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police.

The raid, part of what police area calling an ongoing investigation into the illegal sales and trafficking of narcotics into the Jamestown area, resulted in law enforcement confiscating a large quantity of marijuana and crystal methamphetamine.

Charged with criminal possession of marijuana were 25-year-olds Jamell E. Trapp, Luis Antonio Deleon-Lopez, and Raymond Jiminez-Valentin, each being found to possess varying degrees of marijuana. Trapp was also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, having been found with 1/2 pound of crystal methamphetamine.

All were taken to Jamestown City Jail for arraignment.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Jamestown Police Department , the Town of Ellicott Police Department, and is assisted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET).
