Below, you will find a guide for boycotting Carl Paladino. We want him out of office, yes, but we want him also to understand the power that we have. The guide is not perfect and we welcome new and updated information.
Boycotts are not the be all and end of activism. Remember to vote except when the election has already been bought. And certainly get in the streets when the time comes. Saving Buffalo students from underfunding, privatization, the school to prison pipeline, racism, transphobia and everything else plaguing them may require more than removing Carl from the Board. Let alone boycotting his rich ass.
Not all businesses listed in this guide are owned by Carl Paladino. His company, Ellicott Development, makes much of its money by leasing property to other businesses. We recommend boycotting such businesses where and when practicable. If you own such businesses, this guide recommends handing ownership to your employees. Collectives are awesome. Throwing extensive amounts of glitter at Carl Paladino is also highly recommended both for fun and as a political statement.
