BUFFALO — Buffalo Police Department and the SPCA have rescued a small deer that was reportedly trapped on an icy pond in South Park Lake since early this morning.
BPD announced the successful operation via its Twitter:

The deer was reportedly taken to the SPCA for treatment of hypothermia.
