BUFFALO — Registration for the 10th Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament opens at noon today and runs through Dec. 31.

The three-day, 144-team tournament will be held Feb. 17 – 19 at Buffalo RiverWorks entertainment complex.

Full team rosters, including proof of age for all players, must be submitted upon registration. All registrants will be divided into respective divisions based on skill levels and selected via random lottery draw.

Players can find out if their team has been selected by checking the tournament website Jan. 3. Once teams have been selected, a $250 registration fee will be due by January 7. The tournament gameplay schedule will be announced on Feb. 3. For question, team captains should contact tournament director Ed Ellis at Ed@labattbluepondhockey.com.

Similar to last year’s tournament, players will hit the ice on Friday and compete two of the three days for a spot in the playoffs. Playoff games will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
