The Canisius Golden Griffins close out a four-game road stretch tonight when the Golden Griffins play at Boston University. The Griffs are coming off a 94-88 loss to Monmouth Dec. 4. Canisius hit 16 3-pointers in the loss, one shy of matching the school’s record for 3-point makes in a game. Canisius opened the MAAC portion of its schedule with a 77-76 win at Manhattan Dec. 2. The Griffs are one of nine teams in the MAAC to have a 1-1 record after the first weekend of league action. Junior Kassius Robertson scored a career-high 29 points in the loss to Monmouth, with 21 of those points coming on the power of seven 3-point makes. Canisius and Boston University will play tonight’s game in Case Gym – also known as “The Roof”. The Griffs and the Terriers have played in Case Gym two times previously, with Boston University winning both of those contests. In the 24-game history of this series, Canisius and Boston University have played in seven different facilities, including three different arenas on Boston University’s campus. In addition to playing games in Case Gym, the Griffs and Terriers have also taken to the hardwood in Walter Brown Arena and Agganis Arena.
