NEWFANE — A 41-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated early this morning following a crash on East Lake Road.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, Jennifer Burch’s 2003 Nissan struck a car and home at 6071 E. Lake Road around 4:10 a.m. after driving off the north side of the road. Upon NCSO deputies’ arrival, Burch was found trapped inside the vehicle.
Olcott Vol. Fire Co. responded and were able to extricate the Burch. She was transported to Lockport ENH for minor injuries, charged with felony DWI and other vehicle and traffic charges.
