James M. Piech of Lockport, NY husband of Carol Mowry Piech entered into rest Friday, December 2, 2016 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, NY August 25, 1938, the son of the late Stephen and Victoria Pawlak Piech.

He served his country as a medic in the US Army and later was in the National Guard for many years. James was a Pharmacist for 47 years. He owned his own store in Cheektowaga, and worked at several stores including Rite Aid Pharmacy in Wrights Corners. He enjoyed the outdoors and farming. Member of the Town of Lockport Historical Society and St. Brendan on the Lake R.C. Church (St. Bridget’s site).

Father of Kristen (Paul) Piech-Dumas of Victor, NY, Kathleen (James) Piech-Lukas of Cincinnati, OH and the late Joseph Piech and Suzanne Crane. Grandfather of Andrew and James Crane and Michael and Christopher Dumas. Brother of Thomas (Cheryl) Piech of Livingston, TN. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
