Frederick J. Trombley of Lockport, NY formerly of Norfolk, VA husband of Karen Cook Trombley entered into rest Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. He was born in Lockport, NY November 20, 1951, the son of Lena Trombley of Lockport, NY and the late Arthur Trombley.

Frederick served his country for 20 years in the US Navy, after his retirement he worked as a welder for a ship builder, Newport News Ship Building for many years. They moved to Lockport in 2006 from Norfolk, VA. He enjoyed Civil War History, Fishing, Medal Detecting and playing guitar.

Father of Kelly (Brian) Roper of Norfolk, VA, Carol (Dave) Gasper of Tyler, TX and Stephanie (Richard) Wilmer of Norfolk, VA. Grandfather of Chloe, Brian, Lena, Grant, Karissa and Ricky. Brother of Douglas Trombley of LA, Katherine (Pete) Flewell, Arthur (Claudia) Trombley, Charles (Lynn) Trombley and Jerry (Karen) Trombley all of Lockport, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held SUNDAY, December 4, 2016 at 2 PM in RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main Street Newfane, NY 14108. In lieu of flowers; memorials to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14108 would be appreciated by the family.
