The Buffalo Zoo will host its second annual holiday tree-lighting on Saturday with holiday music, $1 hot chocolate, animal meet and greets, and festive activities.
This event runs from 3-5 p.m. — with the lighting of the Norway spruce in front of the historic elephant house around 5 p.m. — and guests who enter after 3 p.m. will receive a reduced admission rate of $5 per person (valid members are free).
The Buffalo Zoo also invites readers to celebrate the holiday spirit with St. Nick. The annual “Breakfast with Santa” will take place on Dec. 10-11, 17-18, with seatings each day at 9 and 11 a.m. Pre-paid nonrefundable tickets are required, due to limited seating. Tickets include admission, a buffet breakfast provided by CJ’s Catering, family-friendly activities and a visit with Santa.
For more information, ticket pricing, or to purchase tickets to the breakfast, visit the Buffalo Zoo’s website at www.BuffaloZoo.org or call 716-995-6133.
