The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have signed right-handed pitcher Jarrett Grube and center fielder Michael Ohlman  to minor league contracts with invites to Major League spring training.

Grube, 35, spent all of last season at Triple-A and was a combined 1-7 with a 3.92 ERA in 26 games and 20 starts with the Columbus Clippers and the Tacoma Rainiers (PCL). He struck out 106 batters and walked 34 in 119.1 innings of work. A former 10th round pick of Colorado in 2004, Grube made his Major League debut with the Angels in 2014.

Ohlman, 25, spent 2016 in the Cardinals chain, appearing in 78 games between Triple-A Memphis and Double-A Springfield. The catcher hit a combined .287 (72-251) with 12 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 44 RBI. Ohlman was originally drafted by the Orioles in the 11th round of the 2009 draft.
