LANCASTER — A 21-year-old Williamsville man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Transit Road.

According to New York State Police, Jason Nicholas was stopped for speeding and failing to use a designated lane. Nicholas then failed field sobriety tests and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .12 percent.

Nicholas was charged and then released with a return court date in the Town of Lancaster.
