Elden G. “Pete” Schul of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 20, 1932, the son of the late Charles J. and Elizabeth S. [Alles] Schul.
Pete was employed at Harrison Radiator as a Tin Smith until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed song writing and recording his own country music. Pete built his own home and car.
Mr. Schul is survived by his wife of 59 years Marsha K. (Bennett) Schul, daughter Colleen Elizabeth (Bryan) Wilcox, sons Michael Peter (Laura) Schul and Timothy Charles Lynn Schul, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Roy (Thelma) Schul and Margaret (George) Pope.
The family will be present on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Military Honors will be held at 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Faith Tabernacle Church, 5676 Beattie Ave, Lockport, NY.
Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY.
