LOCKPORT — A fire this morning at 111 Cottage St. has the attention of Lockport Police Department investigators.
Detective Lt. Todd Chenez says the body of a male was found after a fire was put out at the apartment building. He declined to identify the victim, however.
Lockport Fire Department was dispatched to the apartment building around 6:30 a.m. for what was reported as a “small fire in a second floor hallway” shortly before 6:30 a.m.
