TOWN OF ALLEN — The Town of Allen Dept. of Works supervisor was charged Thursday with criminal tampering and petit larceny after an incident at the Dept. of Works facility.
According to New York State Police, Troopers received a complaint from the Town of Allen Highway Superintendent about 54-year-old Allan Hennard, the town’s Dept. of Works supervisor, stealing gas and deactivating security cameras.
Troopers conducted an investigation and obtained depositions. Through the investigation, it was determined that Hennard had turned off the security cameras at the Dept. of Works facility and adjoining town court house before using the Town of Allen gas supply to refuel his personal vehicle.
Hennard was arrested, processed at SP Fillmore, and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Allen November 2016.
