LOCKPORT — Lake Effect Artisan Ice Cream‘s sixth annual pint sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the Canal Street ice cream shop.
What used to be an end-of-season clear-out-the-inventory sale continues this year, despite the fact that the scoop shop has opted to remain open year-round as of this year. Still, $3 pints of WNY’s Best Ice Cream is hard to pass up.
During the sale, only pints will be sold (and a few other pre-packaged treats — but no sundaes). All pints are first-come first serve. While they say there are “thousands” available, they also not that someone bought 72 of them last year. That would make a pretty big dent in inventory.

There is typically a line well before the store opens, which will make the Lloyd’s Taco Truck a welcome sight, no doubt. It’ll be there from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
At the conclusion of the sale at 5 p.m. normal business will resume until 9 p.m.
One other thing: “If you show up to the pint sale with a New England Patriots jersey on, all pints will cost you $40 each.”
