NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Devils didn’t need extra time to beat the Buffalo Sabres at Prudential Center Saturday night, posting a 4-2 win over the visiting Buffalo team.

Kyle Quincey, Nick Lappin, Kyle Palmieri and John Moore scored for the Devils as Adam Henrique, Taylor Hall and defenseman Damon Severson each had two assists in what was the Devils’ fourth straight victory.

Marcus Foligno and Matt Moulson scored for the Sabres and Robin Lehner made 23 saves in the loss. The Sabres are 5-6-4 on the season and 1-3-2 in their past six games.

The Sabres next play the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
