BUFFALO — For the second straight game, an opponent needed more than just regulation to beat the Buffalo Sabres as the New Jersey Devils won tonight at KeyBank Center in overtime.

The Sabres got on the board first with a Matt Moulson goal 10:34 into the opening period. Kyle Okposo and Ryan O’Reilly assisted on the power play goal.

Yohann Auvitu tied the game for the Devils at even strength 3:13 into the third period.

Andy Greene then scored on a penalty shot 29 seconds into overtime.

The same two teams will play Saturday night in New Jersey.
