TOWN OF TONAWANDA — The Town of Tonawanda Police are attempting to identify and locate a van and its male driver.

Police say the van appears to be a green — or possibly blue –1996-2000 Dodge Caravan or Plymouth Voyager, which appears to be rotted across the rear door, has damage to the corner of the right rear bumper, and the rear door handle appears to be damaged and potentially hanging.

According to police, this afternoon, a 13-year-old male student got off his bus at Talbot and Northwood. The subject van was parked a couple doors down. The teen walked past the van which was occupied by an older white male with long gray hair. The driver was staring at him and “reved the engine.” The subject continued to stare when boy went up a driveway. The van stopped directly in front of the house and was staring at the residence. The boy came back out of the house and took a picture, at which time the van left.

Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or of any suspicious calls involving the same or similar descriptions is asked to contact Detective Salonikis at 716-879-6636, referencing complaint Number 16-646659.
