BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Justin Bailey from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Bailey (6’3”, 214 lbs., 7/1/1995) joins the Sabres for his first recall of the season after appearing in his first eight NHL games for Buffalo last season. With 45 points (20+25) for the Americans in his first professional season in 2015-16, the Buffalo native tallied more goals, assists and points for Rochester than any other skater.
The Sabres’ second-round pick (52nd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft, Bailey has totaled four points (3+1) in seven games with the Americans so far this season.
