Employees at three bars in Cattaraugus County were charged Thursday with selling alcohol to minors following an underage drinking enforcement detail conducted by New York State Police.

According to NYSP, Troopers at the SP Olean station checked nine retail stores and four local establishments to monitor compliance of the New York State Alcohol and Beverage Control Law.  Of those, all the retail stores were found to be in compliance, as was one of the four bars.

The three charged employees, who were not named by NYSP, were issued appearance tickets returnable to their local courts.
