WEST SENECA — New York State Troopers charged two people with driving while intoxicated and four more with drug-related offenses during a fixed sobriety checkpoint on Saturday.

Kelly Igoe, 29, of Depew was charged with DWI. She will appear in the Town of Elma Court on a later date to answer the charges. She will also have to appear at a DMV Refusal Hearing for failing to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of her blood.    

Daren Heeb, 49, of West Seneca was charged with aggravated DWI. A breath test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .22 percent. He will appear in the Town of Elma Court on a later date to answer the charges.

Anthony Peters, 21, of Orchard Park was found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis, (hashish). He will appear in the Town of Elma Court on a later date to answer the charges.

Troopers arrested three other persons for unlawful possession of marijuana. One additional person was arrested for felony DWI by the Town of West Seneca PD.

Over 600 people passed through the checkpoint.
