BUFFALO — Buffalo police continue to investigate tire slashings on vehicles that occurred overnight on the city’s west side.

Northwest District officers say approximately 50 vehicles had tires slashed in the Richmond, Bird, Baynes and Manchester area.  Detectives have been canvassing the areas all day going door to door to gather information and any video that might be available.

Buffalo police have added additional patrols in these areas.

Anyone with information regarding the tire slashings is asked to call 851-4413. Residents are also reminded that if they see anything suspicious they should call 911 immediately.
