BUFFALO — Despite a season-high 38 shots on goal, the Buffalo Sabres couldn’t get one in the net tonight against the Minnesota Wild, falling 4-0 to the visiting team at KeyBank Center.

The loss was the Sabres’ first in regulation at home against a Western Conference foe in nearly a year. The team had gone 6-0-3 in its last nine games against Western Conference visitors before tonight.

The Sabres next play Saturday night against the Florida Panthers at KeyBank Center.
