Approximately 3,000 NYSEG customers in Clarence Center and East Amherst are currently without power.

According to the utility company, 1,565 customers in Clarence Center and another 1,344 in East Amherst should expect their power to be returned by approximately 9:30 a.m.

A downed utility pole due to a motor vehicle crash is reportedly the cause of the outage.
