John Witt’s depiction of the Grand Island Bridges was selected by All WNY voters as the winner of the September photo contest.
John had tough competition from a field that included 16 photos in all from eight different photographers with the topic being “Up in the Air.” Only one vote separated the winning entry from second place. All entries can be seen here.
John will be awarded a prize package from All WNY News.
The October theme is “Fall Colors.” As with the “Up in the Air” theme, we’re allowing photographers great leeway on how to interpret that. Photos may be submitted via email to news@allwnynews.com or tagged on Instagram or 500px with “#AllWNYPhotos” and “#FallColors.”
Submissions will be accepted through Oct. 31. Voting will run from Nov. 1 through Nov. 7. A winner will be announced on Nov. 8, at which time a new theme for November will be announced.
