Thomas A. Glinsboeckel, of Lockport, NY passed away on Saturday October 15, 2016 in Strong Memorial Hospital. Born on July 27, 1946 in Detroit, MI, he is the son of Geraldine Gruber Simpson and the late Theodore Glinsboeckel. Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1966 – 1968 and was a steamfitter with local 22 working at The Danforth Company. He enjoyed bowling and going to the movies and was a faithful fan of the Bills, Sabres and New York Yankees.

Tom is survived by his wife, Evelyn “Lyn” Glinsboeckel; children, Brian Glinsboeckel and Marci (Joel) Haimerl; mother, Geraldine Simpson; brother, Robert Glinsboeckel and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday 4:00 – 6:00 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, PO Box 114, Newfane, NY 14108. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.langefuneralhomeinc.com.
