LOCKPORT — The Kenan Center is planning a special event, “Fall into Autumn,” for children and families on Oct. 23. The event is to take place in the Kenan Gardens with activities from 2 to 4 p.m., and Trunk or Treat from 4 to 6 p.m.
Activities planned include crafts, fall games, and pumpkin decorating. North Forty Pony Express is joining us with farm animals and pony rides. Specialty food vendors will also be available to purchase items, including McCollum Orchards and Pickle Annie’s. Trunk or Treat will take place in the Kenan parking lot. Children and families are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes as they participate in events.
The event is recommended for children ages 3 to 13. Tickets are $4 for activities or Trunk or Treat, and $8 for both. Tickets are limited, and it is recommended that adults purchase tickets prior to the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Adults accompanying children and children 2 and under are free admission.
