OBERLIN, Ohio—Buffalo State competed in its final meet before the SUNYAC Championships, placing 30th of 32 teams today at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.

Freshman Kevin Murnock (East Aurora/East Aurora) led Buffalo State, finishing 104th of 278 runners, traversing the 8k course in 26:46. Mitch Rabold (Amherst/Sweet Home) was the next Bengal finisher in 155th with a time of 27:22. Phil Giuga (Tonawanda/Tonawanda) placed 192nd (27:58), and Greg Avila-Shah (Lewiston/Lewiston-Porter) and Brandon Shaffer (Williamsville/Williamsville South) also scored in 223rd (28:45) and 244th (29:22) respectively.

Buffalo State will now shift its focus to the SUNYAC Championships which will be hosted by Geneseo on Oct. 29.
