Robert L. Simcox, Sr., 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born on June 24, 1925 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Isaac and Emily (Adams) Simcox.
On October 1, 1948, Mr. Simcox married the former Betty Jean Kyler in Bigler, PA. Following their marriage they came to Niagara Falls, NY. Robert was employed as a chemical operator for Hooker Chemical, until he retired in 1983. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he was baptized on February 26, 2015.
Mr. Simcox is survived by three children, Bonnie K. (Nicholas) Malinovsky, Deborah J. Simcox and Robert L. (Pamela) Simcox, Jr.; three grandchildren, Chantell N., Cindy L. and Robert A. Simcox; two great-grandchildren, Vance Leroy Adamson and Hailey L. Simcox; his dog, Georgia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, October 15th at 10:00 a.m. celebrated in Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Dr, Niagara Falls, NY. Private interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.
