BUFFALO — A 28-year-old Buffalo man is facing gun and drug charges following a traffic stop on Niagara Street on Saturday.

According to New York State Police, Luis Gonzales was found to be in possession of a loaded .38 caliber handgun, a small amount of marijuana and prescription pills that were not prescribed to him following the stop.

Gonzales was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in City Court.
