JAMESTOWN — A 26-year-old Rochester man was charged this morning with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on East 2nd Street.

According to New York State Police, Sherod Hurst was pulled over for a traffic violation and while speaking to Hurst, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Hurst was charged after a glass vile containing two grams of marijuana was located in the center console. He was issued tickets returnable to the City of Jamestown Court and is scheduled to appear in person later in the month.
