TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 58-year-old Lockport man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations following a traffic stop on Old Beattie Road.
According to New York State Police, Richard E. Dalton was stopped for multiple lane violations and subsequently determined to be intoxicated. He was transported to SP Lockport where he consented to a breath test that recorded a .15 percent blood alcohol content.
Dalton was issued traffic tickets including moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and failing to keep right. He is due in Town of Lockport Court at a later date.
