CLARENCE — New York State Police are investigating a fatal collision on Ransom Road that occurred Sunday morning.
According to NYSP, Troopers located a 2003 Lincoln off the roadway around 8:04 a.m. The operator, Gregory R. Giblim Jr. 48, of Clarence, was unresponsive in the vehicle. Troopers administered emergency medical treatment until EMS arrived. Giblim was pronounced deceased.
The vehicle was traveling south on Ransom Road just south of Stage Road and exited the roadway sideswiping a utility pole. There were no external injuries on Giblim from the collision. The cause of the collision may have been medically related.
