FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Buffalo Bills handed the New England Patriots their first ever shutout at Gillette Stadium, beating the division rivals, 16-0.

Buffalo got off to a quick start, scoring a touchdown and two field goals on their first three possessions, all while holding the Patriots at bay. In fact, New England went three-and-out on their first two possessions.

Zach Brown had 18 tackles on the day and dislodged the ball from New England quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the the red zone to keep the Patriots scoreless.

On the offensive side of the ball, Tyrod Taylor went 27-39 on the day for 246 yards and a touchdown. He also had 28 yards rushing. LeSean McCoy, meanwhile carried the ball 19 times for 70 yards. He also scored a seven-yard touchdown on Buffalo’s first drive of the game.

Next Sunday, the Bills travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams at 4.25 p.m.
