WASHINGTON, Pa.—Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) led Buffalo State with a ninth-place finish out of 84 runners, helping the Bengals place fourth of nine complete teams today at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational.

Buff State scored 112 points as Kordrupel completed the 5K course with a time of 19:55. Jaclyn Tedesco (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill) and Elizabeth Wall (Horseheads/Horseheads) were the next two finishers for Buffalo State, placing 21st (21:03) and 23rd (21:11) respectively. Kayleigh Bystrak (Alden/Iroquois) placed 45th (23:02), and Brittany Higgs (Buffalo/Olmstead #156) completed Buffalo State’s scoring in 50th (23:23).

Buffalo State will take a week off before getting a final pre-SUNYAC Championship tune-up at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Oct. 15.
