There were six submitted entries on Thursday to the September “#UpInTheAir” themed #AllWNYPhotos contest — all submitted via email.

The first, a photo of the Buffalo Lighthouse comes from Christine Przybylak.

John Witt submitted three, the first of which is an aerial shot from the ferris wheel at the Erie County Fair.

The second by Witt is a photo of a drone at Canalside.

Witt’s third photo looks up at the Grand Island Bridge.

Finally, Tom Kerr submitted a pair of photos. His first is his take on the Grand Island Bridge.

Kerr’s second entry is of Wilkeson Pointe at Buffalo’s Outer Harbor.

With the six additions from Thursday, voters now have 16 photos to choose from for the monthly contest. Submissions can still be made via Instagram, where photographers can submit a photo simply by tagging it #AllWNYPhotos or via email to news@allwnynews.com.

Beginning Saturday and running through Oct. 7, the submissions will be voted upon by the general public. Saturday will also mark the beginning of the October theme for the contest, which will have a new theme each month.
