The deadline for submissions to the September #AllWNYPhotos contest, “#UpInTheAir” is 11:59 p.m. Friday. That is also the deadline for late nominations to the All WNY Music Awards.
There have been 10 submissions for the first #AllWNYPhotos contest thus far — all via Instagram, where photographers can submit a photo simply by tagging it #AllWNYPhotos. Submissions may also be made via email to news@allwnynews.com. Beginning Saturday and running through Oct. 7, the submissions will be voted upon by the general public. Saturday will also mark the beginning of the October theme for the contest, which will have a new theme each month.
As for the All WNY Music Awards, voting began on Sept. 1 and will conclude Oct. 15. Some artists and fans wanted to make additional nominations after voting began, so the All WNY Music Awards Committee decided to extend nominations through the end of September.
This is the seventh annual All WNY Music Awards. The awards themselves will be handed out at a ceremony in December, along with last year’s awards.
