Patricia T. (Hartlieb) DiPaolo of Niagara Falls, NY passed away at home on Friday, September 23, 2016 under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Port Dalhousie, Ontario, Canada on December 30,1925, the daughter of the late Carl and Julia (Ahern) Hartlieb.

Patricia worked at the St. Catharine’s Steel plant before she married Michael D. DiPaolo at the Star of the Sea Church in Port Dalhousie, Ontario in 1948 and moved to Niagara Falls, NY. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and later Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish. She also belonged to the Mount Carmel Senior Citizens and the Socialites.

She was the wife of the late Michael D. DiPaolo, who passed away in 1978. She is survived by her two sons Michael (Eleanor) P. DiPaolo of Averill Park, NY and David (Lynne) DiPaolo of Youngstown, NY and her daughter Denise DiPaolo of Niagara Falls, as well as 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Burling, Eileen Simpson, Eugene and Paul Hartlieb and close friend of the late Julius Grandinetti.

Her family will be present on Sunday from 4 – 7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Stewart M. Lindsay, OSFS officiating.

Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
