BELFAST — A 28-year-old Belmont woman is facing petit larceny charges after she reportedly took several pairs of flip flops from Dollar General without paying for them.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the store around 8 p.m. Tuesday, where they learned from the store manager that Christina L Ertell had taken several pair of flip flops from the bin out in front of the store without paying for them.
Troopers located Ertell at her residence, arrested her and transported her to SP Amity for processing. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Belfast court next month.
