RUSHFORD — A 60-year-old Cheektowaga man was charged Sept. 13 with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a crash on State Route 243.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a crash, where they found that Ted C Szczepaniak had been operating his vehicle when he attempted to answer his cell phone. His vehicle then exited the roadway and struck the guiderail.
Troopers determined Szczepaniak to be intoxicated and transported him to SP Fillmore, where he was found to have a .19 percent blood alcohol content.
He is due in Town of Rushford in October.
