RENO, Nev. — The University at Buffalo had difficulty slowing a high-powered Nevada offense and lost to the Wolf Pack, 38-14, at Mackay Stadium on Saturday night. The Bulls were able to effectively move the ball on the ground, rushing for a season-best 231 yards. However, Nevada gained 352 yards on the ground and controlled the line of scrimmage.

Nevada took its opening possession and drove 72 yards on eight plays. Quarterback Tyler Stewart scrambled into the endzone for a 9-yard score. (UB 0, Nevada 7, 9:19 1Q)

Jaxson Kincaide ripped off a 48-yard run to set up a first and goal. But the UB defense held Nevada to a 23-yard field goal. Nevada took the second half kickoff and drove 75 yards on 13 plays. Butler scored from a yard out for his third rushing touchdown of the game.
