Helen Scheg passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, after 100 years of life.

Helen is predeceased by husbands Charles Schnacky and Albert Scheg, daughter Sue Ann Schnacky and son, Bernard Scheg. Survived by daughter Helen (Bettie) (Christopher) Lindley, grandsons Charles (Jeanne), Kevin (Theresa), and Stephen (Jill) Fitzpatrick, and six great grandchildren, Sean, Margaret, Daniel, Emily, Caitlin and Alison. A member of one of the first graduating classes at Mercy High School, Helen was a valiant woman who lived a long and fruitful life sustained by her family, her friends, and her faith. She will be remembered for her frequent notes, cards, calls and visits to family and friends, the pictures taken with her Kodak pocket instamatic camera, the hats, mittens and scarves she crocheted, and most importantly her kindness to others.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish106 S. Main St, Albion, NY 14411 followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Albion.
