DELEVAN — A 56-year-old Freedom man was charged Monday evening with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Church Street.

According to New York State Police, Daniel V. Mason was stopped for failing to signal on multiple turns. While interviewing, he was determined to be intoxicated.

Mason was taken to SP Machias for processing and found to have a .10 percent blood alcohol content. He was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire for later this month.
