ELLERY — A 21-year-old Bemus Point resident was found dead in their overturned vehicle on Bayview Road Saturday afternoon.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the crash scene on Bayview Road about a half mile north of Brown Hill Road at 4:45 p.m., where they found an overturned 2001 Audi S4 approximately 35 feet off the roadway into the woods.
The operator, Ryan T. Abbey was found deceased in the vehicle, which police say may have been overturned for multiple hours before being located by a farmer.
The collision is still under investigation as to why the vehicle left the roadway.
