Saleem F. Jabaji, Sr., 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, husband of the late Rose S. (Bawab) Jabaji, passed from this life on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, following a brief illness.  Born on August 2, 1924 in Jerusalem, Palestine, he was the son of the late Fayek and Badea (Dayeh) Jabaji, Sr.  

Saleem attended schools in Jordan and came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1987, where he was a local motel owner.  He was a very spiritual person and enjoyed traveling around the world, taking cruises and reading.

Saleem was the father of Fayek S. Jabaji, Jr., Marwan S. (Eva) Jabaji, Sam S. (Cindy) Jabaji, Bernadette (Suheil) Zabaneh, Susan (Rajai) Jabaji and Taghreed (Majed) Farr; grandfather of 19 grandchildren; great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren; brother to 2 brothers and 3 sisters and was survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 12-2 and 4-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where funeral services will begin on Monday, September 12th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., which will be celebrated in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jeffrey L. Nowak serving as celebrant.  Prayers of committal and entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
